Traditional outdoor brands have always had shirts like this in their collections.  I feel like they're designed for that climber that's living out of the back his van in Yosemite all summer.  At some point, dude is going to need to look presentable, and when that moment comes, he ends up throwing on a crunchy short sleeve like this one.  That said, you do not need bouldering experience to appreciate how great these are.
