Synonymous with sustainable Indian textiles, The Colours of Nature has been a leader in the development and experimentation of natural dyes and hand-weaving since it was founded in 1993. They were our first stop on the hunt for handloom denim and we immediately fell in love with their naturally dyed indigo shirting. We've used it to create the Dungri, an eastern interpretation of the classic western shirt. Cut from a rugged-looking lightweight indigo twill with a deceptively soft, brushed flannel-like hand - the Dungri's hand-embroidered pocket stitching and back yoke shape subtly reference the pointed archways of Rajasthani architecture. It features a relaxed fit, a softly constructed point collar and faux buffalo horn snaps at the front placket, pocket and cuffs.
