The main reason that you’ve probably never heard the name Andrew McAteer is a big part of what’s so great about what he does. There's not a lot of stock out there because it’s just him, creating incredible leather pieces by hand in his Queens workshop (which happens to be the basement of the building he's the superintendent for). From what we’ve seen, Andrew can make just about anything, but we were particularly blown away by his loafers. There are no machines in his space, so it took him about a month to make us five pairs of these entirely handmade pennies from this insane chocolate pebbled pull up leather. We played with the front and back side to create this crazy spectator and put them on a gutsy ridgeway sole that is perfect for winter. Three of the coolest guys we know grabbed this as soon as we put them out, so we know we're onto something.
These run true to size.
