Synonymous with sustainable Indian textiles, The Colours of Nature has been a leader in the development and experimentation of natural dyes and hand-weaving since it was founded in 1993. They were our first stop on the hunt for bottom-weight handloom fabrics and we immediately fell in love with their denim. We chose a gutsy, organic cotton twill woven into an unprocessed natural ecru with a double bar indigo selvedge for our new favorite pant, the Dungri West chino. The Dungri West features a high rise and a full, straight leg with kicked forward, on-seam pockets and a deep hem. Other details include a selvedge waistband and beasom back pockets, hidden coin pocket at the right waist, an angled back denim yoke, and a custom-tooled metal button at the center front.
