Named for our dear friend Nicola, who has been developing incredible knitwear in Northern Italy for over 30 years, the Cuoco was designed to be our ideal crewneck sweater. Knit from a beautifully irregular 3g thick and thin extra fine merino/nylon mouliné yarn spun by Pecci Filati (One of Italy's most experimental yarn spinners),  the Cuoco fits relaxed - but not huge - with a drop shoulder and a substantial, narrow fitting neck.  The idea was to create a piece we'd want to wear 2 to 3 days a week when the temp dropped.  Obviously the black checks that box, but this volt/forest twist was too crazy not to make a few as well.
