PAOLO FISHTAIL PARKA WITH REMOVABLE QUILTED LINER JACKET - FOLIAGE WAXED NYLON / TRAVERTINE "COBBLESTONE' NYLON RIPSTOP
"At first glance, this fishtail parka could seem nearly identical to the ubiquitous surplus iterations that fill vintage stores all over the country. It's long, functional silhouette features plenty of similar details, but the closer you look, the more it's upgrades reveal themselves. A water-repellent, beeswax coated nylon outer shell. A substantial, two-way center front zipper closure. And then there is the removable liner jacket. Cut from a textured nylon ripstop that mimics Rome's cobblestone streets, the insulated liner features a quilting pattern inspired by the Colosseo Quadrato - the iconic Rationalist centerpiece of Rome's 1942 world's fair that never happened (and, more importantly, a key Roman skateboard spot at the turn of the 21st century). With a snap front closure, patch hip pockets and a dailed-in length and fit, (the primary issue with most surplus liners) the liner is an incredible stand-alone piece of outerwear. The goal here was to give you two exceptional coats that would look just as great worn separately as they do together. Think we did it." - The Management
