"Beeswax coated ikat.  This is likely a first.  For those that don't know, ikat is a traditional handwoven textile that utilizes resist dying to create intricately-shaded yarns that must be carefully aligned by hand on the loom for their patterns to be clearly visible.  We loved the idea of pushing this textile past its typical application towards a slow-fi "technical" garment. The end result is organic, craft-driven functionality with enhanced structure, water-repellency and patina possibilities." - The Management
