18EAST + Earth\Studies ESCEP LOBSTER GLOVES - TERRA DABU DYED ORGANIC COTTON FLEECE
"This capsule has been in the works for a long time. At some point we joked that it would be sick to make a cotton version of grizzly mittens, and Brandon chimed it that they should have a trigger finger. A short while later Rob sent the group chat a photo of an insanely intricate prototype he patterned out in his studio, with wrap over woven reinforcements at the index finger, padded palms, 3M traced shock cord adjusters, etc. The joke became one of the strangest, best things that has ever had the 18 East name on it. None of us think these will sell, but Rob did such an amazing job with them that we made a few anyway. They are - without a doubt - my favorite piece in this assortment." - The Management
Made from a deep-pile, 100% organic cotton fleece and handwoven cotton "Bark" cloth, these materials undergoe a traditional Rajasthani dabu mud-resist dyeing process, where a mud-based paste is applied to the garment's reverse side. This application selectively blocks dye absorption, resulting in a surface with natural patterning and enhanced textural richness.
Proudly made in India.
The gloves have a 4.5” cross palm measurement equivalent to size L and an 10.5” Length from middle finger to cuff.
